London Knights Teddy Bear Toss Volunteers (16+ event)

December 2, 2017 @ 5:00 pm

We are extremly excited to announce this partnership with the Salvation Army, and have 10 available spots for volunteers to represent Dad Club London

****Please RSVP promptly as the 10 to confirm availability will be accepted****

This is strictly a volunteer event, and we will not be participating as spectators to the game, as we will be behind the scenes waiting for these bears to drop.

Provided below is an outline of this opportunity from event coordinator, Sheryl Rooth, from the Salvation Army:

Love hockey? Love to volunteer? Join Dad Club London for the London Knight Teddy Bear Toss and support the Salvation Army Christmas hamper Program. On Saturday December 2, volunteers are needed to hand out bags to fans, retrieve, count, pack, and unload thousands of bears at Budweiser Gardens and be an all around good ambassador for the Salvation Army.
Time commitment is approximately 5 hours. Must be able to move quickly, lift 25lbs, and be very comfortable in a noisy and fast paced environment. Some voluntees may be able to go on the ice and collect bears but must wear a helmet and suitable skates. Drinks and snacks provided!! We are also looking for truck drivers, and someone with a very large cube truck to help transport bears to the Western Fair. Only 25 spots available.

Paperwork and media relase forms to follow.
