COME RUN WITH YOUR FELLOW DADS!

Over the past four months, Dad Club London has embarked on two fitness and weight loss group challenges.

The first challenge saw 22 dads come together with the goal of losing weight over 12 weeks, with Generous member Rick from All Bout Cheese pledging $1 for every pound lost to a charitable cause of our choice.

With a little exercise, you too can look like this.

We lost 235 pounds in total, and Rick donated $235 to Investing In Children, a local non-profit that supports 38 breakfast programs across the London region.

August 1st saw the kick off of The Fitness Challenge Part 2 – Defeat The Dad Bod. 38 dads have benefited from a free one month membership at Hybrid Fitness, where they hosted 2 private dad club classes per week to whip us back into shape.

With August wrapping up and our crew already on its way to a newer and more svelte version of ourselves, we are now looking ahead to our next opportunity to continue to pursue good health and fitness and also give back to the community.

A chance for us to put together a team in a very cheap local 5k fun run that benefits a great cause is here. Dad Club London will be entering a team in Seize The Day, the second annual 2.5km walk and 5km fun run for individuals living with seizure disorders across Southwestern Ontario.

It only costs $20 advance registration to participate (or $25 at the event.)

If you raise $100 in pledges, you run for free! If you raise $150 in pledges, you also get a free t shirt and water bottle.

The event is Sunday September 25th, starting at 10 am, at Kiwanis Park on Hale St, which is just south of Dundas and just east of Highbury.

More information, including registration, can be found here:

When you register, please register as a team and put “Dad Club London” as your team name.
